Client Referrals

Client referrals are not something that comes around by merely wishing it so, but rather is a result of a definite, focused and persistently used strategy. Listed here are seven ways we’ve found to help increase client referrals, and they are surprisingly quicker and easier than you might imagine!

  1. Recruit your best customers – Your best customers may be your best bet, because they’re already fond of what you do don’t need incentive to refer you to their circle of friends. You only need to ask them!
  2. Offer incentives – Discounts, giveaways, upgrades or other rewards appropriate for your business are a good way to get people to offer client referrals.
  3. Go crazy on first-time customers – A new customer is a target ripe for the picking. Help them to feel so special and treasured that they almost can’t help telling everybody they know just how well they were treated.
  4. Engage your customers – Find imaginative approaches to engage your clients and perhaps discover a way you can benefit each other. The secret is to get them talking, and being open to ideas. Create an online community for your customers, say for example a blog or Facebook group.
  5. Be grateful and hand out perks – Become really good at saying “Thank You”, as well as in understanding  when a well-placed perk will help you. An unexpected gift card or a thank you note could work wonders.
  6. Get the staff working on it – Having your employees get behind this can magnify your efforts. You might want to put together some kind of reward, but it can be well worth the time and energy to put it together.
  7. Create a loyalty program – A customer loyalty program, preferably online, will assist you to generate enthusiasm and engagement. Reward interaction as well as purchases, because this can lead to more people becoming involved.

Consistently working a customer referral plan takes some determination, but at the end of the day can create fantastic results with a modest outlay.
